About Elizabeth

The Weedflower is Elizabeth’s debut children’s book. She’s worked as a reporter and photographer for several small daily, weekly, publications, and interviewed everyone from the Premier of Ontario to award-winning pig farmers… sometimes in the same afternoon.

In fact, Elizabeth has worked at newspapers, nonprofit art centres, libraries, banks, coffee shops, retail stores, and — in her summers throughout university — an automotive parts factory. Then she left it all for the glory of motherhood.

She now lives on the shores of Lake Huron, and spends her days writing, walking local trails, or making weird art. To see some of the weird art, click here, or here.

Elizabeth is currently unrepresented.
